Gebr. Van der Lugt is a typical family business run by three brothers and one son of those brothers. With a future generation working in the firm the traditional family line will be successfully continued.

The three brothers started out the company – Gebroeders van der Lugt – in 1978. However, the original company is much older. Over eighty ago, the grandfather of the brothers already cultivated vegetables, after which he switched to cultivating freesias. It is therefore quite clear that the Van der Lugt Brothers have green fingers!

Rich colouring welcomes you when you visit Van der Lugt Lisianthus at any random day. Two modern properties guarantee the year-round production of sixteen appealing colours, subdivided in the single flower and the double flower variety. Van der Lugt responds to the customer’s needs by offering custom made productions and maintain her reputation by deliver good quality of her products. Proven collections of quality are the PICCOLO (single flower) and the ROSITA (double flower). These series distinguishes themselves by the hardness of the stem and the high number of flower buds.
